How does the “Device Detector”feature work and what are its limitations?
If you can’t find your Ploom AURA, the device-finding feature helps you easily locate it before it gets lost.
When location tracking is enabled, the app automatically records the last known location of your device. If you left it somewhere, simply open the app and check its last known location on the map.
When you are within 30 meters of the device connected to the app, the app will provide more precise distance information. The closer you are to the device, the faster the wave animation on the screen will become.
If you still can’t find your device, turn on the sound and light signal on the device to more easily pinpoint its exact location.
Note: Walls and other obstacles can weaken the signal and affect the accuracy of device detection.
