Ploom AURA is an intuitive heated tobacco device designed to offer a sleek, compact, and advanced experience. With its refined design and Smart HeatFlow™ technology, Ploom AURA heats tobacco without burning it.
The device uses Smart HeatFlow™ technology to heat tobacco rather than combust it, delivering a consistent tobacco taste from the first to the last puff.
You can adjust your heating settings through the Ploom AURA app and personalize your device with a choice of colors and accessories to suit your preferences.
Your new Ploom AURA device is delivered in transport mode. To exit this mode, briefly connect the device to a power source. Attach the USB-C cable to the bottom of the device. It is sufficient to charge the device for a few minutes, after which you can start using it immediately.
If you wish to fully charge the device, leave it connected until the LED line flashes ten times and the device vibrates at the same time. The ten LED flashes appear only when exiting transport mode. During subsequent charging cycles, once the battery is fully charged, the LED line will flash twice and then turn off, indicating that charging is complete.
Using the Ploom AURA device is simple. Follow these steps:
- Open the top sliding cover of the device to reveal the stick chamber. (When opening the sliding cover, the LED line displays the current battery level.)
- Carefully insert the stick to the correct position. The coloured line on the stick should no longer be visible (this can be checked by slightly tilting the device).
- If the Auto-Start function is enabled, the device will automatically begin heating. The LED line will flash to indicate the preheating phase. Wait until the device vibrates twice.
If you are not using the Auto-Start function, press and hold the button area just below the LED line for approximately one second. The device will vibrate once for a longer duration and the LED line will begin flashing, indicating that heating has started.
Ploom AURA preheats in 25 seconds in all modes except Intense mode, where the preheating time is 30 seconds.
[1] Session duration varies depending on the selected heating mode. Balanced mode is set as the default, with a session duration of 5 minutes.

During regular charging, the LED line flashes until the battery is fully charged. Once the battery is fully charged, the LED line will flash twice and then turn off.
If you are connecting your new Ploom AURA device for the first time to exit transport mode, you can also fully charge the battery at the same time. In this case, the LED line will flash ten times and then turn off, indicating that the battery is fully charged.
